November 1921: The bridge was destroyed in high water. The flooding took out most of the bridges in the county.
June 15, 1922: "Sealed bids will be received by the County Court of Lincoln County, at the Court House in Toledo, Oregon, at ten o'clock A.M. on the 7th day of July, 1922, for the following work:
The construction of three bridges across the Siletz River, the location of said bridges being as follows:
(b)--About one mile northwest of Siletz Post Office on the Siletz-Mowery's Landing Road at the site of the old bridge on said road, known as 'Louie Fuller Bridge.' " (Lincoln County Leader)
September 28, 1922: "The two bridges leading to the Lower Farm are being rapidly built. The nearest one to Siletz will be completed first. The motto of the workmen seem to be 'work fast.' " (Lincoln County Leader)
December 14, 1922: "The Fuller bridge is now covered and the other two bridges will soon be covered." (Lincoln County Leader)
