August 11, 1893: "The Taylor Ferry bridge that was rebuilt this summer has just been completed and received by the county court from contractor, M. S. Daily. It is now the best bridge in the county. The original contract was for building 234 feet for $1060, but when the work of tearing down the old structure was done it was found that 28 feet and eight inches more was necessary, together with ten feet of roof which extras cost $59.35 more. The court at this term has audited bridge bills to the amount of over two thousand dollars." (Hillsboro Independent)
June 25, 1903: "M. S. Daily, who recently built the Taylor Ferry bridge, is able to be around on the street by use of a carriage, being partially recovered from an injury received by a bent falling on him during construction of the structure." (Hillsboro Argus)
December 28, 1917: "Sealed bids will be received by the State Highway Commission of the State of Oregon at the office of the chairman of the commission, 1301 Yeon building, Portland, at 11 a.m. on the 9th day of January, 1918, for three bridges described as follows;
One bridge on the West Side Pacific Highway in Washington County over the Tualatin River near Cypole, consisting of one (1) 144 foot span timber truss covered, to be on creosoted pile foundation, 166 feet of timber approach." (Roseburg Review)
December 28, 1917: "Sealed bids will be received by the State Highway Commission of the State of Oregon at the office of the chairman of the commission, 1301 Yeon building, Portland, at 11 a.m. on the 9th day of January, 1918, for three bridges described as follows;

1930: "Contract No. 1110, awarded August 6, 1929, to Northwest Contract Company, of Portland, Oregon. Work commenced August 6, 1929; completed May 31, 1930.
The new bridge is part of a realignment and widening project and eliminates an old covered wood truss bridge. The old structure was located at the end of a sharp curve at which several serious accidents have occurred." (Ninth Biennial Report of the Oregon State Highway Commission)
