1910 - 1938
October 4, 1910: "A.N. Striker and crew of men left yesterday for Teeter's creek, which empties into Row river on the road from Cottage Grove to Bohemia, where they will build a covered bridge for the county. The materials are now on the ground and it will only take a couple of weeks to build it." (Morning Register)
July 8, 1937: "A committee was appointed to investigate as to why no action was taken on the Teeters creek bridge which is reported unsafe." (The Eugene Guard)
June 6, 1938: "A new bridge will be built immediately over Teeters creek, a short distance above Dorena on Row river. The county bridge crew started preliminary work Monday under the direction of Arthur Striker, county bridge foreman.
The bridge will be 69 feet long and 20 or 22 feet wide and will be of the open type, replacing the old style covered bridge that stood there for many years." (The Eugene Guard)
