December 15, 1922: "The Lost Creek bridge on the same road was let to E.D. Olds for $9,033." (The Eugene Guard)
April 25, 1923: "Judge C.P. Barnard of the county court and Engineer J.C. McLeod, of the state highway commission, made a trip over the Goshen-Lowell road this morning. The report that Contractor E.D. Olds has the piling down on the Lost Creek bridge and is working on the piers." (The Eugene Guard)
1923-1924: "On the Willamette Highway, near Lowell; one 105-foot Howe truss span.
Contract No. 619, awarded December 13, 1922, to E.D. Olds, of Oak Grove, Oregon. Work commenced January 15, 1923; completed August 4, 1923. Final cost, $10,474.25. Resident Engineers, E.G. Ricketts and J.O. Madden, successively." (Sixth Biennial Report of the Oregon State Highway Commission)
