May 30, 1895: "There will be let to the lowest bidder or bidders at the June term of the County Commissioner's Court of Washington county, Oregon, on Thursday, June 7, 1895, at 2 o.clock p.m., contracts for building the following bridge and fills, to-wit: Bridge at Farmington known as the Harris bridge, being on the Tualatin river and in Washington county, Oregon. All bids to be sealed.

June 13, 1895: "The contract for the Harris bride across the Tualatin has been let to T.C. Johnson for $1213.00." (The Argus)
June 13, 1895: "The road between this place and Farmington via the Harris bridge is blockaded, the carpenters being at work on the new structure." (The Argus)
