May 14, 1897: "In the matter of advertising for bids to build a bridge across the Bullrun at Sandy; clerk authorized to advertise for bids in accordance with plans to be submitted by the roadmaster." (Oregon City Courier)
June 18, 1897: County Court Proceedings: "There being no bids for construction of a bridge across Bull Run river, new bids were ordered advertised for." (Oregon City Courier)
March 25, 1926: “The Clackamas Construction Company, consisting of Philip and Melvin Hult, are building a new bridge across the Bull Run. The old bridge was torn down last Saturday. It was made an occasion of celebration. Movies were taken of the bridge as it tumbled into the chasm it had spanned.” (The Molalla Pioneer)
