October 9, 1900: "Contractor Ridinger has completed the new bridge across the North Fork at the Cooper place, and Monday it was inspected by the county commissioners and accepted. The bridge is pronounced the best in the county, and is 818 feet in length, with a span of 220 feet." (Coquille City Herald)
October 10, 1939: "Traffic will be allowed Sunday morning on the new Cooper bridge over the Coquille river middle fork, the county road department announced today.
