August 10, 1916: "Arthur Striker, county bridge builder, this week moved his crew of men from the Coburg bridge, on the McKenzie river, to the Camp Creek bridge, where extensive repairs of the structure will be made.
This work will consist of the putting on of new main bents and needle beams and a general overhauling.
The improvements which have just been completed at the Coburg bridge consisted of putting in a new pier, new approaches, a new floor, with the lumber extending lengthwise, and a thorough tightening up of rods and Timbers." (Morning Register)
