September 29, 1899: "Sealed bids will be received at the clerk's office for repairing the Clear Creek bridge at hatchery: Three bents under south end of bridge and four under north end." (Oregon City Courier=Herald)
September 19, 1902: "In the matter of the application of J.L. Mumpower to attach his fence to the Clear Creek bridge. It is ordered that J.L. Mumpower be and is hereby permitted to attach his fence to the west end of the Clear Creek bridge." (Oregon City Courier=Herald)
February 8, 1907: "The report that the Clear Creek bridge had been washed away is untrue. The damage done has been temporarily repaired and as soon as the water subsides will be permanently remedied. It is now safe for crossing." (Oregon City Enterprise)
