Parrott Creek
August 8, 1868: "The contract for the construction of a new bridge at Parrot's creek, in this county, has been let. A bridge has long been needed at that point." (Oregon City Enterprise)
July 8, 1898: "In the matter of the Deep creek and Parrott creek bridges, the matter came up to be heard, and the following bids were received and opened:
J.E. McCoy, Deep creek and Parrot creek bridges, $1248 each. (and three other bidders)
And it appearing to the court that the bids of J.E. McCoy for both bridges are the lowest and best bids, and the court being fully advised, it is ordered that the bids of the said J.E. McCoy, be accepted, and the county clerk is hereby ordered to contract with the said J.E. McCoy for the same." (Oregon City Courier)
1928: "Contract No. 1010, awarded November 16, 1927, to Rigdon Brothers, of Woodburn, Oregon. Work commenced November 16, 1927; completed November 1, 1928.
This bridge replaced an old narrow wooden bridge." (Eighth Biennial Report of the Oregon State Highway Commission)
