March 23, 1929: "The county bridge at Donna on the Mohawk road was damaged as the result of a car crashing against the span yesterday. County bridge crews started work of repair yesterday." (Eugene Register)
April 11, 1929: "The driving of the piling for the Donna bridge has been completed by the county bridge crews and it is expected that within a few days the new deck for the span will be laid, according to announcement yesterday at the office of the county engineer." (Eugene Register)
