February 25, 1920: "Bids for the construction of the 90 foot span covered bridge over Mosby creek, just southeast of Cottage Grove were opened yesterday by the county court. Bids submitted were as follows: Arthur Striker, $5115.00; L.N. Roney, $4975.00; George Breeding, $3689.00.
