April 6, 1867: "On application for an appropriation to repair the Deep Creek bridge, 3,000 feet of lumber was awarded." (Oregon City Enterprise)
April 14, 1876: "L.D. Harding was appointed to superintend the letting, contracting and building of Deep creek bridge, on the road from Oregon City to Phillip Foster's, east side of Clackamas river." (Oregon City Enterprise)
September 15, 1876: "The superintendent of the Deep creek bridge, Mr. Mullins, reported the bridge completed according to contract and it was ordered that the bridge be accepted, the contractor released from his bonds, and an order for $857.50 be drawn in favor of the contractor." August 18, 1893: "Supervisor Cooke was authorized to procure the necessary material and rebuild Deep Creek bridge." (Oregon City Enterprise)
May 20, 1898: "Clerk ordered to advertise for bids for Deep Creek bridge same to be 115 feet long and Howe truss; bids to be accompanied by a certified check for $100." (Oregon City Courier)
July 8, 1898: "In the matter of the Deep creek and Parrott creek bridges, the matter came up to be heard, and the following bids were received and opened:
J.E. McCoy, Deep creek and Parrot creek bridges, $1248 each. (and three other bids)
And it appearing to the court that the bids of J.E. McCoy for both bridges are the lowest and best bids, and the court being fully advised, it is ordered that the bids of the said J.E. McCoy, be accepted, and the county clerk is hereby ordered to contract with the said J.E. McCoy for the same." (Oregon City Courier)

November 18, 1898: "In the matter of the report of J.H. Smith on the cut at Deep Creek bridge, the same was accepted, and the matter referred to Commissioner Morton to have Supervisor Cooke make said cut and fill in conformity with plan of surveyor." (Oregon City Enterprise)
